The modern building has a privileged location facing the sea in the north of the island of Florianópolis in Santa Catarina, 300mts. of the main street of Praia de Canasvieiras where the shops, bars and restaurants are located.

The beach is one of the most visited on the island, due to the calm sea and nightlife. The sea of Canasvieiras is calm and warm, suitable for families with children. In front of the beach, not far away, there is a private island, the Ilha do Francês, to which it is possible to go by kayak or in rented speedboats. As the preferred beach by argentine tourists in Florianópolis, many shops have bilingual attendants.

There are some theories about the origin of the toponym “Canasvieiras”; one of them says that it is due to a certain Mr. Vieira, who formerly owned a sugarcane plantation in the locality. However, a more historically accepted explanation would be the fact that a species of sugarcane, “cana-viera”, was widely cultivated in the region. In fact, the beach is identified as “Praia Cana Vieiras” on a map from 1786.

Excelentes apartamentos, muy bien ubicados a 20 mts del agua! Luminosos, seguros, ascensor, cochera amplia c/portón eléctrico. A 3 cuadras del centro lo que lo hace muy práctico y silencioso en las noches. Muy recomendable.
